A superhigh tech helicopter get's stolen by its creator Dr, Moffet. Stringfellow Hawke is hired by Archangel who is the deputy director for the F.I.R.M. to retrieve it back, but Hawke only agrees if they bring his long lost brother back who is missing in M.I.A. Vietnam. Fail to attempt, Stringfellow Hawke keeps Airwolf hidden in a secret mountain until Archangel brings back his brother St, John, which leads him and his best friend Dominic Santini on various espionage missions working for the F.I.R.M.
After 3 weeks of resting, Hawke and Santini goes back into action with the lady, leading them into various missions, including bailing out a vietnam buddy of Hawke and saving Archangel from a Nazi criminal from the episode "Fight Like A Dove"
The missions continues as Hawke and Santini has to battle a new Airwolf the firm has secretly been creating. Hawke also get's into trouble when he is being brainwashed by war criminal that wants Airwolf to blow up an island for him.
Hawke and Dom has been living a quiet life for a couple of years, when suddenly Dom get's killed in a helicopter accident, leavng Hawke wounded badly in the hospital. Dom's niece Jo who also is working at Santini Air is devastated when Dom is dead. The F.I.R.M. has been forced to shut down, and a new section known has the Company has been created. The former employee's of the F.I.R.M. has been redesigned or fired. Jason Locke, now Archangels replacement has taken over Hawke's file. Caitlin married Ed who used to work at Santini Air and they moved to Atlanta. Hawke tells Jo where Airwolf is hidden in hope of finding St, John. Jason and Mike Rivers, a Navy top pilot joins Jo on their flight to find St, John. Hawke is reunited with his brother one last time before he dies and is buried at his cabin. St, John takes over String's job as they keep Airwolf a secret and do various missions for the Company.
